We are eagerly looking ahead to the 2018 and the world renown jazz musicians who will fill our stage and the ballroom air with their music!
MUSICAL LINEUP FOR THE 38TH ANNUAL NORTH CAROLINA JAZZ FESTIVAL

Thursday, February 1
7:30 – 7:35 Welcome

7:35 – 8:15 MANGROOVE – presenting A Tribute to Horace Silver (Mangroove is a local band, led by Manny Santos, a percussionist who moved here from Boston a few years ago.
Also in the group are Teddy Burg – flute and sax, Brian Miller – sax, Jack Krupicka – on piano, and Doug Irving – bass)

8:20 – 9:20 THE NICKI PARROTT TRIO bringing us their “road show”! Nicki, Rossano Sportiello and Eddie Metz will be coming off a tour of the South where they will have
been featuring songs from their cds. Individually these musicians are some of our favorites — together they will be sensational!

9:20 – 9:35 Intermission

9:35 – 9:50 ROSSANO SPORTIELLO – solo piano

9:55 – 10:30 As usual, for the Styles of Jazz evening, we will end with a set of a style that our event is best known for – The Traditional Jazz Jam, led by ADRIAN CUNNINGHAM, will feature some of our NCJF All-Stars.
