ANYONE CAN ACTAges: Teens & Adults
$25 per class This once a month, drop in class is perfect for anyone who has never done anything theater related but has always wanted to try. It is also good for those who have done it before and wanted to work out some rusty muscles. In this two hour class, you will participate in games and exercises meant to introduce theatrical conventions, build confidence in acting, and remove the mystery of participating in live theater. ACTING LEVEL ONEAges: Teens & Adults
$125 for 5 classes This five week long class offers a deeper look into the foundations of acting. This class is suited for people who have begun participating in theater and want to gain a deeper understanding of the craft and the art of acting. Instructors will lead you through techniques and exercises that will help you to discover a deeper, more honest approach to performance.Classes are offered on the following dates: January 29th February 5th February 12th February 19th February 26th All classes are Sundays 7pm-8:30pm All participants are expected to attend every class. ACTING LEVEL TWOAges: Teens & Adults
$175 for 7 classes (Only students who completed the acting one course are eligible to move on to Level two. All others will be considered on a personal basis.) This Seven week course follows up on the foundations learned in the Acting Level One Course. We will explore a deeper understanding of acting fundamentals, with an emphasis on the teachings of Stanislavski, Hagen, and like-minded artists. We will apply these lessons to monologues and scene work. This course will end in a showcase for friends and family.Classes are offered on the following dates: March 29th April 5th April 12th April 19th April 26th May 3rd May 10th Showcase at 7:30 on May 10th All classes are Wednesdays 6pm-7:30pm All participants are expected to attend every class.
