WAA Spring Show 2017
Call for Artists
Wilmington Art Association (WAA) invites artists to submit work for its 35th Annual Juried Spring Show and Sale. This show will be open April 7-9, 2017 in Wilmington, NC during the annual North Carolina Azalea Festival.
The juror/judge for this show will be Joseph DiGiulio from Raleigh, NC. Digiulio holds numerous awards such as the SAS Institute Purchase Award. His latest pieces are large-scale abstract acrylic paintings that reflect his use of color, line, shape and texture taking on the expression of color and dynamics. He has served as juror for a number of events and has work displayed in galleries North Carolina.
Submissions may be made from 8 January through 28 February 2017. The show is open to all artists 18 years of age and older and will include original works in painting, pastel, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital imaging, fiber art, mixed media and three-dimensional work. Monetary and merchandise awards will be in excess of $4000.
