6th Annual SMALL WORKS SHOW
November 1 – November 12, 2019

This show provides an exhibition opportunity for artists in the coastal Carolinas. We welcome both established and emerging artists.
William H. Miller Studios & Fine Art is pleased to announce the Sixth Annual Small Works Show, a yearly show featuring works of art by established and emerging artists of the coastal Carolinas. The show opens November 1st and continues through November 12, 2019.
With this annual event started by Artspace 506 in 2013 and now continued by William H. Miller Studios & Fine Art provides an exhibition opportunity for local artists and offers opportunities for our patrons to purchase original works of art when people are buying holiday gifts.
The Small Works Show each year features dozens of artists and includes works in every imaginable media. Two-dimensional, three-dimensional and electronic works are included. No work exceeds 12” in any dimension.
Entries will be accepted October 30, from 11am-6pm and must be hand-delivered to the gallery at 714 Main Street, Myrtle Beach, SC. Each artist can submit up to two pieces with an entry fee of $10 per piece. A commission of 70/30 split with the gallery if your sells. All artwork must be for sale. Artwork must be ready to hang, no sawtooth hangers. Interested artists should contact the gallery at (843) 410-9535 for additional information.
Yvette Cummings will serve as Judge for this year’s exhibition. Yvette L. Cummings received her Masters of Fine Arts degree at the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning. Cummings is currently a Teaching Associate at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Her work has been exhibited in multiple group and solo exhibitions throughout the south and midwest. Cummings was Most recently the recipient of the 701 CCA Prize 2016 for South Carolina artists under 40. Yvette L. Cummings currently resides in Conway, South Carolina where she devotes her time to her studio work, teaching, and family.
Awards will be The First Place Award is $100, Second Place $50, Third Place $25 and three Honorable Mention Awards. There will also be a “People’s Choice” cash award of $100 that will be decided by the voting of viewers at the gallery.
An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2019 from 5-8 p.m.
The opening reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. William H. Miller Studios & Fine Art is located at 714 Main Street, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, 29577. The gallery is open Monday – Saturday from 1p.m. to 5 p.m. (Closed on Sunday).
