Mother’s Day weekend will kickoff Georgetown’s 3rd Juried 2018 ARTWALK,
Art in the Park, and Cultural Arts events.
Important Dates, Times and More…
March 23rd – Entry Deadline
Entry form, entry fee and accompanying images are due.
March 30th – Email confirmation
Artists whose pieces have been accepted, will be notified by email, no later than March
30th, 2018. Details for delivery or shipping of accepted work will be included.
April 26th – May 4th 9 am – 3 pm and April 28th 9 am – 1 pm – Delivery
Deliver to Cultural Council of Georgetown County, 922 Front Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
No exceptions will be made.

May 6th – Artist/Member Reception – 6 – 7:30 pm
May 12th – Day 1 – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
May 13th – Day 2 – 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
May 14th – 19th – noon – 5 pm – Pick-up from Cultural Council Gallery. You MUST plan on having your items
removed in accordance to these dates and times.
INSURANCE: Artists are to provide their own insurance. Any and all claims must be waived and all rights and claims
for damage released against the Cultural Council of Georgetown County/City of Georgetown show
management/promoters or their agents/representatives, volunteers, successors and assignees for all injuries
and/or losses suffered at the show, or which may arise from traveling to, participating in, or returning from this
event.

___I release Georgetown 2018 ARTWALK and their volunteers from responsibilities of damage, theft, or loss of my
work.
___I give permission for photographs of my work to be used for publicity.

JURIED ARTWALK AGREEMENT
ELIGIBILITY: Any person over the age of 18
FORMATS: Two-dimensional and Three-dimensional, Refined Crafts, Film, Video and Installations
JURORS: To be announced
AWARDS:
Best of Show: $1,000, 2nd Prize: $500, 3rd Prize: $250, Honorable Mention and People’s Choice
AGREEMENT:
Submission of work to the 2018 Georgetown ARTWALK will constitute an agreement to comply with rules, conditions
and requirements listed in this agreement.
• Entries must be the original work of the submitting artist and completed within the past three years.
• Entries may NOT have been accepted for exhibition in prior Georgetown 2018 ARTWALK or
Art in the Park
• Cultural Council of Georgetown County (CCGC) reserves the right to reject any work.
• All work must be freestanding, hang-ready or set up on exhibitor display tables.
• Labeled work must include artist’s name, title, date, medium, price or NFS.
• Once an item has been accepted, it may not be withdrawn, or the conditions of sale changed
without the consent of the ARTWALK Committee.
• Art sales do not include reproduction rights. The artist and buyer must negotiate separately.
• Artwork purchased but not collected will be retained by the CCGC. Every effort will be made to
contact the buyer. If the sale remains incomplete after 3 months, the artist can reclaim the work.
• CCGC reserves the right to photograph work for publicity and educational purposes only. Please
indicate any objections in writing and attach to your entry form.
• CCGC cannot be responsible for storage of any materials beyond May 19, 2018.
• A 20% commission goes to the CCGC for any artwork sold during the ARTWALK and ART SHOW.
I, the undersigned, agree to abide by all terms in this Agreement, the Photo requirement and the Electrical
Information and Restrictions information which I have read and understand for the 2018 Georgetown
ARTWALK and ART SHOW and declare that all the items displayed in my booth/exhibit were made by the
named artist herein.
