Dates for the 2019 edition of the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival have been released.Look for another weekend of music, food and fun on October 4-6, 2019.
Started as a free backyard jam four years ago, this event annually features an exciting slate of smooth, soulful, and edgy regional and local jazz artists. Music-loving audiences in attendance have hailed from all of South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and beyond.
A celebration of jazz, culture, community and individuals from all walks of life, the Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival has also made it a top priority to help preserve the history of Carver Street. This cuturally important area was home to Charlie’s Place, a supper club that played host to the biggest names in music while providing an early showcase for the Shag, South Carolina’s official state dance.
